Modernization is something we do after the basics are in hand. Your software is documented, backed up, in accounts you own, and a Support Plan keeps it healthy. From there you can decide what to change, with real information.
We never begin with a rebuild. Many older systems are best kept running and improved piece by piece.
Three paths
Upgrade and fix
Runtime and framework upgrades, plus fixes for the issues a Takeover Assessment turned up. Fixes start at $7,500 per engagement, and upgrade packs run from $8,000 to $30,000 depending on the stack and size. Details are on Fixes and Runtime Upgrades.
Rebuild or replace
Some software has outlived its design: it cannot be upgraded in place, or the cost of keeping it alive is higher than replacing it. We discuss rebuilds only after we know your system, and every rebuild is quoted on request with a written scope. We will tell you plainly when we think a rebuild is not worth it.
AI features for existing software
Add search, summaries, drafting help or other AI features to the system you already run. Packages start at $9,000, with an ongoing option from $1,500 per month. We explain what the AI does with your data before we build. Details are on AI for Existing Software.
How we work on changes

- A test copy first. Nothing reaches your live system without your written approval.
